To accommodate the growing passenger demand and effectively manage the heavy rush during the peak summer travel season, Western Railway has announced the operations of special unreserved trains between Udhna (Surat, Gujarat) and Madhubani (Bihar). These special services will run on special fares and will offer a massive relief to long-distance commuters heading toward Bihar.
According to a press release issued by the Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Anubhav Saxena, a total of 16 trips will be operated under this special drive to ensure smooth and comfortable transit for the public.Train Schedule, Timings, and Complete Dates
The Western Railway has planned the operations meticulously to cover the upcoming peak weeks of May and June. Below are the complete schedule details for both directions:
1. Train Number 09151 Udhna – Madhubani Special (08 Trips)
- Days of Operation: Every Wednesday and Friday.
- Departure Timing: Departs from Udhna Junction at 08:35 AM.
- Arrival Timing: Arrives at Madhubani at 01:30 AM on the third day of the journey.
- Exact Dates of Service: May 20, May 22, May 27, May 29, June 03, June 05, June 10, and June 12, 2026.
2. Train Number 09152 Madhubani – Udhna Special (08 Trips)
- Days of Operation: Every Friday and Sunday.
- Departure Timing: Departs from Madhubani at 04:10 AM.
- Arrival Timing: Arrives back at Udhna Junction at 21:50 PM (9:50 PM) on the second day.
- Exact Dates of Service: May 22, May 24, May 29, May 31, June 05, June 07, June 12, and June 14, 2026.

Major Route and Stoppages Covered
To ensure maximum connectivity for passengers living in mid-route cities, this special train has been provided with multiple commercial halts across major railway junctions in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.
The train will stop at the following stations in both directions:
- Gujarat & MP: Sayan, Bharuch, Vadodara, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, and Nagda Junction.
- Rajasthan & UP: Kota, Sawai Madhopur Junction, Gangapur City, Bayana Junction, Idgah Agra, Tundla Junction, Govindpuri, Prayagraj Junction, Mirzapur, and Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction (DDU).
- Bihar: Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga, and Sakri Junction.
Important Note for Travelers: Since these are completely unreserved special trains, passengers do not need to secure a prior seat booking. Tickets can be purchased directly from the railway station counters or through the UTS mobile application prior to the train’s departure.
