Rajesh Power Services Limited (RPSL) has secured new work orders worth ₹653 crore from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) for the development of underground power distribution infrastructure in Gujarat. The contracts further strengthen the company’s order book and reinforce its position in the state’s power transmission and distribution sector.
Underground Power Network to Improve Reliability
The newly awarded projects involve the conversion and development of underground electricity distribution networks aimed at improving power reliability, reducing outages, and enhancing the safety of electrical infrastructure.
Underground cable systems are expected to:
- Reduce power interruptions caused by storms and heavy rainfall.
- Improve the reliability of electricity distribution.

Under the PGVCL contracts, Rajesh Power Services will execute underground power distribution works across various project locations in Gujarat.

- Installation of underground power cables.
- Modernization of existing electricity infrastructure.
- Strengthening of the distribution network.
- Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Enhancement of grid reliability and operational efficiency.
