Vadodara, September 4, 2026: Preparations are gathering pace in Vadodara for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming Gujarat visit, with a major programme planned at the Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) Pavilion Ground on September 8, 2026.

The official logo for the upcoming programme was unveiled in Vadodara in the presence of senior public representatives and administrative officials.
Those present included Gujarat Minister Dr. Manishaben Vakil, Vadodara MP Dr. Hemang Joshi, Mayor Gitaben Makwana, MLAs Keyur Rokadiya and Satishbhai Patel, Municipal Commissioner Arun Mahesh Babu and Collector Dr. Anil Dhameliya. The naming of the programme as ‘Namo for Viksit Bharat’ links the Vadodara event with the broader vision of building a developed India.
₹35,000 Crore Development Works on the Agenda
One of the biggest highlights of PM Modi’s Vadodara visit will be the launch of multiple development projects with a combined value of around ₹35,000 crore.
