1. Bharat Bovine Breeding and Research Centre in Bhildi
At approximately 9:30 AM, Modi is scheduled to visit the Embryo Transfer Technology–In Vitro Fertilisation (ET-IVF) Laboratory and the Bharat Bovine Breeding and Research Centre in Bhildi.
Spread across approximately 127 acres, the centre has been developed as a specialised facility to strengthen cattle breeding, genetic improvement and advanced reproductive technologies. It is described in the visit note as India’s first facility of its kind dedicated to the Kankrej cattle breed.
The centre is expected to support scientific breeding practices and improve the quality and productivity of indigenous cattle. The project has been reported at a cost of approximately ₹328.77 crore.
2. ₹19,000 Crore PM-KISAN Instalment for Farmers
One of the most significant announcements expected during the Banaskantha programme is the release of the 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme.
According to the latest visit note, the instalment is expected to total approximately ₹19,000 crore and provide continued financial assistance to eligible farmer families across India. Under PM-KISAN, eligible farmer families receive ₹6,000 annually in three instalments of ₹2,000 each through Direct Benefit Transfer.
Farmers should check their individual payment status through the official portal rather than assuming that registration guarantees payment.
How to check your PM-KISAN status:
- Visit https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
- Select the “Know Your Status” option.
- Enter the required registration details.
- Complete the verification process.
- Check the payment status and any pending requirements.
Incomplete e-KYC, incorrect bank details or eligibility-related issues may affect payment.
3. Two New Bio-CNG Plants for Banas Dairy
The Prime Minister is scheduled to lay the foundation stones for two Bio-CNG plants associated with Banas Dairy.
The proposed facilities are:
- Tharad: Capacity to process 75 metric tonnes of cattle dung per day.
- Radhanpur: Capacity to process 100 metric tonnes of cattle dung per day.
Together, the plants will have a planned cattle-dung processing capacity of 175 metric tonnes per day. The projects are intended to support renewable energy production while creating additional value from dairy-farm waste. They also reflect the growing focus on linking dairy cooperatives with waste management and clean-energy initiatives.
4. Ahmedabad Metro Phase-2A and Phase-2B Extensions
The Banaskantha programme is also scheduled to include the foundation stone for two Ahmedabad Metro extensions.
Phase-2A: Airport Extension

The Prime Minister is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for upgrading and strengthening the Ahmedabad–Mehsana Road, State Highway 41. The project is estimated to cost around ₹2,600 crore and will upgrade the road from four lanes to eight lanes.
