Western Railway Announces Udhna–Jaynagar Special Train for Summer Rush
To manage the increasing passenger rush during the summer vacation season, Western Railway has announced a special unreserved train service between Udhna and Jaynagar. The decision is expected to provide major relief to thousands of passengers traveling from Surat and nearby areas to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh during peak travel days.
According to an official statement issued by Western Railway spokesperson Anubhav Saxena, the railway administration has planned this special train service to control overcrowding and meet the growing travel demand during May 2026. The special train will operate for four trips in total and will include sleeper and general second-class coaches for passenger convenience.

Train number 09041 Udhna–Jaynagar Special will depart from Udhna at 11:30 PM on Saturdays and reach Jaynagar at 1:30 PM on Monday.

Train Number 09042 Jaynagar–Udhna Special
In the return direction, train number 09042 Jaynagar–Udhna Special will depart from Jaynagar at 3:00 PM on Mondays and arrive at Udhna at 7:45 AM on Wednesday.
