In a major political development in Vadodara, Geeta Makwana has officially been appointed as the 31st Mayor of the city. The announcement was made by BJP leadership after receiving approval from the party high command.

Aditya Patel has been named Deputy Mayor, while Varshaben Vyas has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Standing Committee.
